Biography

H. Arnold Steinberg

Chair of the Board, Associate, Cleman Ludmer Steinberg Inc.

Mr. Steinberg brings a wealth of board-level experience and strong knowledge of the health care sector to Infoway. He is currently a Senior Officer with Cleman Ludmer Steinberg, Inc., an investment holding company. He was recently appointed Chancellor of McGill University for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2009. Mr. Steinberg is also Vice-Chair of the Governing Council of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. He was the founding Chair of the McGill University Health Centre and is a director of the McGill University Health Centre Foundation and the MUHC Research Institute, and Advisory Board Chairman of McGill's Faculty of Medicine. He has previously held positions as director and chairman at major Canadian corporations as well as charitable and cultural organizations. A member of the Order of Canada, Mr. Steinberg is a graduate of McGill University as a Bachelor of Commerce, and a graduate of Harvard University with an MBA degree. He also holds an honorary doctorate from McGill University and the Université de Montréal. Mr. Steinberg’s extensive career and volunteer endeavours reflect an enduring commitment to higher education and health care.
