Biography

Dianne Kelderman

Vice-chair of the Board, President, Atlantic Economics

Ms. Kelderman is President of Atlantic Economics, a firm specializing in economic analysis and development, related public policy and alternative finance. A published author and speaker on economic development, she has worked extensively in Atlantic Canada, and on assignments across Canada, the New England States and as far afield as India. In 2000, she was selected one of the Top 50 CEOs in Atlantic Canada and in 2003, received the Harvey Webber Commemorative Award, in recognition of her significant contributions to the Chamber Movement of Atlantic Canada.

An active volunteer, she received the 2003 Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award from the Truro and District Chamber of Commerce. She is the immediate past president of the Atlantic Provinces Chambers of Commerce, a Director on the Board of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Atlantic Chambers Capital Initiative, Director on the Board of the Atlantic Institute for Market Studies, member of the Nova Scotia Premier's Advisory Council on Innovation, past president of the Nova Scotia Chambers of Commerce, and has spent 12 years as a Director of the Truro & District Chamber of Commerce, including two terms as its President.

Ms. Kelderman holds a B.A and B.Ed. from Memorial University of Newfoundland, a M. Ed. from St. Mary's University, and a Masters in Economic Development from the Southern New Hampshire University Graduate School of Business. She is currently completing her MBA.
