SARS illustrated the real need for a better information management solution to manage public health outbreaks. A new solution, called Panorama, is in development to provide health care professionals with a suite of tools (e.g. outbreak identification, vaccine inventory management, case management, notifications, etc.) to manage public health activities across the country in a coordinated manner.
