On the heels of a successful fall Conference, planning for the Spring 2010 Infoway Partnership Conference is well underway. The spring Conference will take place April 19-21, 2010 at Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel, Montréal, Quebec. The focus of this spring’s program will be Terminology, Implementation and Conformance and the Call for Participation has now closed.
The Infoway Partnership Conference is the place to learn and share experiences and perspectives about real world standards-based solutions in both clinical practice and EHR deployment. Delegates find a sophisticated level of common interest and a strong sense of collaboration, coupled with enthusiasm for transparent and open dialogue. The Conference is of interest to standards and architecture experts, vendors, clinicians, privacy and security experts, implementers, health delivery organizations, academics, and other stakeholders involved in health informatics.
The Infoway Partnership Conference continues to be the principal meeting venue for the deliberations of the Standards Collaborative Working Groups, and the meetings of the Standards Development Organization (SDO) Canadian Constituencies.
Technology and health care vendors are able to share the latest news about their developments and the adoption of electronic health information solutions with Conference delegates through the InfoFair and other networking opportunities.
The Conference will feature:
- Opening and closing keynote speakers;
- Day break sessions – orientation, tool demonstration, solution architecture update;
- Plenary and semi plenary sessions focusing on hot topics and experiences with terminology, implementation and conformance;
- Standards Collaborative Working Group meetings;
